	Our Featured Story: USDA Grant to Support Courses via Distance Learning CSTAF faculty are preparing distance-learning courses in agroforestry for UF/IFAS students and students at other universities in the Southeast.

	New CSTAF Publications are on the Web New publications on the CSTAF Website are designed to inform landowners about the benefits of forest riparian buffers, how to grow shiitake mushrooms in an agroforestry setting and how to use SEADSS, CSTAF’s decision-support system.

	CSTAF Offers In-service Training in Agroforestry As part its commitment to extension and outreach, CSTAF is hosting a series of Agroforestry In-Service Trainings (IST) throughout the Southeast in 2004.

	Southeastern Agroforestry Network of Demonstration Sites (SANDS)--Calling all Agroforesters CSTAF hopes to help answer some questions about agroforestry by establishing a network where practitioners and educators alike can communicate with one another.
