As researchers began reporting early results at the CSTAF Advisory Council annual meeting in May, the environmental and economic benefits of agroforestry systems began to emerge as two of the prominent research findings.

A farm near Chipley, Fla., provided members of CSTAF’s Advisory Council and other participants a look at long-term silvopasture in practice.


1st World Congress Features Presentations by Agroforestry Leaders

Organizers of the 1st World Congress of Agroforestry in Orlando June 27-July 2, 2004, have scheduled international experts to give presentations, arranged workshops and activities, and enlisted the support of sponsors worldwide. 


CSTAF to Publish White Paper on Agroforestry

CSTAF will publish the white paper Agroforestry in the Southeastern United States this August. The paper provides a detailed overview of agroforestry in the Southeast and provides a list of publications and other resources available for interested readers.
